Among other things, it allows you to diagnose motorcycle systems, read and clear error codes, and view the data stream. It also supports the OBDII standard and the CAN, J1850 PWM, J1850 VPW, ISO9141, and KWP2000, making it compatible with many OBDII-equipped vehicles manufactured since 2000.
When connected to a BMW motorcycle, the device allows you to scan systems such as DME, ABS, KOMBI, SME, ESA2, GM, and AUDIO; retrieve vehicle information; read and clear fault codes; scan the system; and view the data stream. You can also, among other things, configure service data, adjust the throttle position sensor, and much more.
The ANCEL MT300 BMW supports the Auto VIN search feature, which helps you identify your motorcycle faster and begin diagnostics. If automatic identification fails, you can manually select your model from the diagnostic menu. Additionally, you gain access to vehicle and software information.
The device supports OBDII functions such as reading and clearing codes, I/M readiness, data stream, status dump, O2 sensor test, on-board monitoring, and evaporative system test. When you launch the OBDII app, the scanner automatically detects the communication protocol and displays a menu of available tests for the identified vehicle.
The “Service” menu provides quick access to special functions, the availability of which depends on the specific motorcycle’s configuration. For example, you can reset the oil and ETC, bleed the ABS system, and more. This gives you even more options when diagnosing the vehicle.
