The manufacturer has improved the material’s properties by increasing its elongation at break to 35–40%, which translates to greater flexibility and reduced susceptibility to cracking. Thanks to its low volumetric shrinkage rate (ranging from 4.3% to 5.6%), a viscosity of 300–400 mPa·s, and an impact strength of up to 212 J/m, the material enables the creation of durable and highly detailed models.
ABS-Like Resin Pro 2 combines high tensile and flexural strength with greater material flexibility—elongation at break can reach 35% to 40%. As a result, the resin is ideal for printing structural components, handles, assembly jigs, and industrial prototypes.
The material’s low viscosity and good flow reduce the time needed to cure successive layers and streamline the model-forming process. An additional advantage is its good adhesion to the build plate, which helps minimize the risk of failed prints. The low shrinkage rate, in turn, helps maintain high accuracy in detail reproduction and ensures a smooth surface on the finished models.
A specially developed formula reduces the intensity of the odor released during printing, enhancing comfort during daily work. This makes using the resin more pleasant, especially during prolonged use.
The resin is compatible with LCD and DLP printers that use UV radiation with a wavelength ranging from 365 to 405 nm. It has been optimized for Anycubic LCD models but can also be used without any issues with other compatible devices. You’ll find it very useful in your workshop!
