TOTOLINK A702R V4 — AC1200 Dual-Band Wireless Router

The TOTOLINK A702R V4 is a dual-band wireless router built on the IEEE 802.11ac standard, operating on 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz simultaneously with a combined throughput of up to 1167 Mbps — 300 Mbps on 2.4 GHz and 867 Mbps on 5 GHz. It is aimed at home users and small offices that need stable coverage for HD streaming, video calls and online gaming across multiple devices.

Four external omnidirectional antennas extend the wireless signal over greater distances with good wall-penetration, while beamforming technology concentrates the signal towards connected phones, tablets and laptops instead of broadcasting it evenly in all directions. Band Steering lets the router broadcast both bands under a single SSID and automatically move each client to the faster, less congested band.

The web-based setup wizard gets the router online in a few steps, and the firmware covers everything a small network needs: Router, Repeater, AP and WISP operating modes, Universal Repeater and WDS for extending existing Wi-Fi, Multi-SSID for separate guest networks, QoS bandwidth control by IP or MAC, IP/MAC/URL filtering, port forwarding, and quick IPTV configuration.
